How do u make the topping for coconut cream pie?

I made coconut cream pie now i just need the topping.

I always just put fresh whipped cream on top then sprinkle toasted coconut on top to make it pretty adn so you know what kind of pie it is.How do u make the topping for coconut cream pie?
Prepare meringue by beating 3-4 egg whites and 1/4 tsp cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add 6 tablespoons sugar; beat until stiff peaks form and all sugar is dissolved. You can also add 1/2 cap full of vanilla extract if you want. Pile it on top ot your pie. Use the back of a spoon or the side of a knife to pull peaks all around the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until peaks are golden.





Some people just pile whipped topping on top of a coconut cream pie though.
You need a nice clean metal bowl, 3 egg whites and 4 tablespoons sugar.You will also need a mixer. Turn the mixer on low and get them egg whites to beating. Pour in a tablespoon of sugar and crank the mixer speed up a notch, in a minute or 2 put in another tablespoon of sugar and crank it up another notch. Wait a minute and put in another spoon of sugar, crank it up another notch. After a minute add your final spoon of sugar and kick it up full blast. Go another 3 minutes and you should have some nice stiff meringue. Spread that on top the pie and shove it in the oven on 325 for 15 minutes.
i like whipped cream but use egg whites and sugar and whip and whip till it gets stiff, morainge, heck i dont know how to spell it to get u a recipe toast some coconut till it browns lightly then sprinkle on top
Make a meringue. Beat egg whites with a dash of sugar until stiff peaks form. pile it on the pie, put it under the broiler for just a few minutes until it browns.
