The recipe that we use where I work is 2 quarts of Heavy whipping cream, 1 pound powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of vanilla.
put it all in a mixer, (or bowl) and whip on high speed until it peaks. Be sure not to overwhip, or you will have sweet butter on your hands!I wanted a receipe for home made whipped cream for a cake?
whipped - cream.
just whip it and add some powdered sugar
Heavy cream...if you have a food processor it works great. otherwise beat with a mixer on high speed. (be sure to chill your bowl, beaters and of course be sure the cream is very cold) Start beating and add powdered sugar and vanilla (i add to taste). Be sure to stop beating as soon as good and thick. If you over beat it will curdle and be gross.

Use heavy cream or whipping cream and whip on high until the cream starts to get stiff. Add sugar and vanilla a little bit at a time until it tastes hoe you like it. Then whip until stiff, when it stands up when you pull the mixer attachment up. Good luck!
