Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?

i had some at a place called Maggie Moo's, but i want some to have at home whenever i want it. it was very good!Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?
oooh no, but that sound REALLLY good!!

Found this recipe online though:

I love carrot cake. (In fact, everyone loves carrot cake.) I love ice cream. Of all the many desserts in the world, these are my favorites. ';Surely,'; I thought, ';there must be some way to combine them.';

You'll need:

4 eggs

2 cups whole milk

1 cup white sugar

4 cups heavy cream

8 ounces (one package) cream cheese

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup grated carrot

1/2 cup raisins

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter

Beat the eggs. Mix in the white sugar and milk. Heat over a low flame, stirring constantly, until thickened (about ten minutes).

When the mixture has cooled, add the heavy cream, cream cheese, and vanilla, and beat thoroughly. More air is better.

In a separate pan, combine butter, brown sugar, carrots, and raisins, and heat until gooey. Grate the carrot finely, but then again, not too finely. Proper carrot cake is a little stringy 鈥?that's part of its charm. You want the ice cream to preserve that quality.

Mix everything together, and chill it overnight. Dump it in your ice cream maker. (If you're short on these, see Tem42's excellent ice cream writeup for do-it-yourself instructions involving ice, a coffee can, and some duct tape. Or get some liquid nitrogen.) After a bit of hard, honest churning, you'll have yourself some carrot cake ice cream.

Not carrot cake with ice cream. Not ice cream with bits of carrot cake in it. Carrot cake ice cream. It tastes just like you'd expect.Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?
I found Maggie Moos too. And Whiteys. And Moomers. Google it and see. It sounds great!
i found a recipe. Dont know how it tastes but you can try it. If you decide to make it let me know how it takes. I will however see if i can find any available for purchase. Good Luck...

INGREDIENTS:

5 egg yolks

4 cups whole milk

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup white sugar

8 ounces (one package) cream cheese (room temperature)

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter

1 1/2 cups grated carrot

1/2 cup golden raisins

1 tablespoon dark rum (optional)

PREPARATION:

In a large pot, heat the milk and cream to a simmer. In a large bowl, add the egg yolks and white sugar. Beat with a whisk until the mixture thickens and becomes a pale yellow.

Slowly, while whisking vigorously, add a little (1/2 cup)of the hot milk and cream to the sugared eggs. Continue to add the hot milk and cream until all of it has been combined with the sugared eggs. Don't add the hot liquid too fast or the eggs will cook and lumps will form in the mixture.

Add the milk and eggs mixture back to the original pot and place over low heat. Heat the mixture while constantly stirring with a rubber spatula. Do not let the mixture boil or it will curdle. The mixture will slowly begin to thicken. When it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon it's done (about 7 to 10 minutes). Immediately remove heat and cool the mixture as fast as possible, preferably in an ice bath [Fill a large container or your kitchen sink with some ice and cold water. Transfer the ice cream mixture to another container (preferably stainless steel) and immerse it in the ice bath. Stir the mixture to cool it even faster.]

When the mixture has cooled to room temperature or below, stir in the vanilla and cinnamon. Add the cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until well combined. It's okay if there's a few small chunks of cream cheese. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

While the cream mixture is cooling, combine the brown sugar and butter in small pot over medium heat. When the sugar and butter are melted, stir in the carrots and raisins. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Fold this mixture into the cream mix with a rubber spatula.

When everything is sufficiently cold, give the mix a good stir to distribute all the bits evenly and add to an ice cream maker. Churn the mix according to the manufacturers directions.

Serve alone or with a bit of caramel sauce. Enjoy!
THATS NASTY!!!! GET A LIFE!!!!
