What accent color goes good with moss green dark wood and cream couches?

My first choice would be a DEEP SALMON SHADE; or something ranging from pink to red to burgundy.

For a totally different look and feeling, I would suggest TURQUOISE.

I also think that a hint of turquoise throughout the room would compliment my first choice.

Good luck and I hope this helps. What accent color goes good with moss green dark wood and cream couches?
Any shades of red would look great. What accent color goes good with moss green dark wood and cream couches?
earth colors, tan, pale green, coral, orange.
Hmmmm,,,,,, accents for earthy colors. I'd lean towards an oak trim as it's somewhat between the two.
dark orange
My daughter has those colors in their house. When I heard they were painting their living room red, I almost flipped. After I went up to see it, It is beautiful. So use a red, not the brick red. Theirs is a fairly dark red I don;t know what shade it is called. It is not candy apple red either. But go with red...........
brick red. I too have those colors

Have the puppy in your house before you decied on a call name for it. The breeder might have some ideas for a name. The breeder might have a kennel name that will be part of the puppy Reg. name. Some times the puppy will do some thing that will give it is name.
Oh, it sounds cute! Show quality, this is one good pup you're getting! Ummm, how about Sophie, or GiGi, also here is a great site for pet names :) good luck with your champion-to-be!

Might depend on what the registered name will be and what the kennel prefix of the registered name will be.

What is a good cream that a dermatologist can give for sun/brown spots of my face.?

I have a few sun/brown spots that get darker in the summer even thought I use a sunscreen and wear makeup. Is there a really good cream that the dermatologist can give me that is prescription strength that I can put on my face to help this. And why did I not get them when I was younger and now that I am in my mid 30's I do. When I lay in the tanning bed I always put a towel on my face, so I don't get a lot of sun on my face. And help would be great. What is a good cream that a dermatologist can give for sun/brown spots of my face.?
Aldara cream and retin-A both work, but you absolutely can not use this with any sun exposure what so ever. It is basically acid. What is a good cream that a dermatologist can give for sun/brown spots of my face.?
Depending on your skin type, a laser treatment package would be best in helping lighten your sun spots. They are quite expensive and take a while to do their job, but the results are fantastic. In my area, you can get 5 treatments (3 weeks in between) for around $1600. Make sure you go to a facility that has a medical doctor on site and check out the business thoroughly as licensing laws vary by state. A derm doc can also prescribe hydroquinone (sic), which is a topical lightening cream.

Also ask for a prescription of Renova (tretinoin cream) which is the first topical prescription cream that is clinically proven to reduce fine facial wrinkles that have been caused by aging and the sun.

If you really want to have great skin, stay away from tanning beds. You don't want the face of a 30 year old with the rest of your skin looking 60! Today's tanning beds are almost all UVA (ultra violet aging) rays, which do not cause burning like UVB rays, but cause more long-term sun damage.
i can recommend a skin lightening product that is used by dermatologists and privately label them because of the products' high potency and efficiency value from the ingredients used.. note that hydroquinone and mercury are harmful whitening ingredients, and this site sell safe products that you can use for long term use..

don't forget to use sunscreen with these products because it's one of the keys to successful skin lightening.. here's the link -

Does Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream help with sorting acne out?

I've read a lot of positive reviews but was wondering what you guys thought.

Thanks in advance.Does Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream help with sorting acne out?
I think maybe it depends on the reason/type of acne. I have pretty bad acne with quite deep spots and it didn't help me any more than my other anti-acne lotions and creams. The best for me so far is garnier night gel with salicylic acid but it doesn't prevent more from appearing (for me).

I'm now on antibiotics for my acne but I probably get spots for a very different reason than you do.

I would recommend sudocrem if you have dry skin as well as acne.

Why does my sour cream get gross water stuff in it after being in the fridge?

Has it been in there too long? Is it just mine? Does yours do that also? the expersiation date isn't until Aug of 08'Why does my sour cream get gross water stuff in it after being in the fridge?
just stir the sour creamWhy does my sour cream get gross water stuff in it after being in the fridge?
It is sour CREAM. Remember that when cream comes out of the cow that it floats on top of the milk in a vat. They skim off the cream and are left with whole milk. The Cream and the water in the cream (sour cream in this case) do not want to remain homogenized together. Hence, the water separates from the sour cream. Stir it up and eat it, it is fine provided the freshness date is not passed.

Think about this: If it is sour cream, why does it need a freshness date?
the minerals in the sour cream seperate after a while because of their density. if it was expired you would smell something different and you could tell. just mix it up and it will go back to normal
yea. its ok. if you want it to stop doing that and for it to taste even better n be creamier, add some milk and a lil bit of salt. then stir.
just stir it up... and most likely it will go away... everything collects water
yogurt does that to. as long as the date is good. stir it up and enjoy!
the ingredients separate just stir it

well you can buy canned gravy but then its taste like you used canned gravy.
    SIMPLE CHICKEN POT PIE

    INGREDIENTS

Buttermilk Biscuits from frozen food section

1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts and/or thighs

4 cups homemade chicken broth or low-sodium canned broth

    1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    1 medium-large onion, chopped

3 medium carrots, peeled and cut crosswise 1/4-inch thick

2 small celery ribs, cut crosswise 1/4-inch thick

    Salt

    Ground black pepper

    4 tablespoons butter

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

    3 tablespoons dry sherry (optional)

3/4 cup frozen green peas, thawed

3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves

    DIRECTIONS

Make pie dough or biscuits and refrigerate until ready to use. If using commercial puff pastry or phyllo dough, follow package instructions for thawing.

Adjust oven rack to low-center position; heat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, carrots and celery and saute until just tender, about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, shred chicken into bite-size pieces. Transfer cooked vegetables to bowl with chicken; set aside.

Heat butter over medium heat in Dutch oven. When foaming subsides, add flour; cook for about 1 minute. Whisk in chicken broth, any accumulated chicken juices and thyme. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low and continue to simmer, stirring, until sauce fully thickens, add more flour if more thicking is needed, about 1 minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper; stir in sherry.

Pour sauce over chicken-vegetable mixture; stir to combine. Stir in peas and parsley, and adjust seasonings. Pour mixture into a 13-by-9-inch pan or any shallow baking dish of similar size or into six 12-ounce ovenproof ramekins or bowls. Top as desired. Bake until pastry is golden brown and filling is bubbly, about 30 minutes for large pies, 20 to 25 minutes for smaller pies. Serve immediately.

    Note

    Topping Options

In addition to the biscuit and flaky pie dough toppings, puff pastry, either commercial or homemade, can blanket the chicken filling. Or you can top the pie with four or five phyllo sheets that have been thawed according to package directions, trimmed to pan size and brushed with butter. If you want, you can top the pot pie with leftover mashed potatoes.
You can purchase gravey at the store in jars and cans. You can make your own gravey by using chicken stock (also found in the grocery store) and bring it to a boil....then add a mixture of cornstarch and water(approximately 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch) LITTLE BY LITTLE stirring with a whisk until it's thickened.

  • Can I eat ice cream while I am pregnant ?

I am 4 months pregnant and love ice creams. What does soft serve ice cream mean, I read that they are to be avoided ? I usually have store bought Nestle ice creams, are they safe ?Can I eat ice cream while I am pregnant ?
If you are otherwise healthy, ice cream is not 'bad' for you. There is calcium so that is a good thing, however it is full of other not so good things so moderation will be key.

Congrats! Mine is 3months old and I can't imagine life without him!!!Can I eat ice cream while I am pregnant ?
ice cream is one of the favorite things of pregnant women. lol You're safe. Soft-serve ice cream is the kind of icrecream that mcdonalds and dairyqueen serve.

    Store bought nestle is fine.
of course you can actually if u are constipated it will help with you going to the bathroom (i am 3 months) happy eating
Tub ice cream is absolutely fine. The concerns about soft serve such as you get from fast food places is that the ice cream is kept at a warmer temperature to keep it soft. Also because it is stored in big machines that dispense it the concern is if the machine is not cleaned properly and disinfected regularly it could harbor toxins and food poisoning.

While the majority of people can tolerate small amounts of these kinds of bacteria and pass them through their systems with no side effects, your baby can't. It's the same reason why you should stay away from processed meats like hot dogs, lunch meats and soft cheeses. Also make sure you don't leave milk and juices out of the fridge or leave your butter out on the table all day.

While it's very rare in today's age of cleanliness to come into contact with listeria, botchulism, samonella and other forms of food poisoning, why take chances? While you might just get a tummy ache from eating some of these bacteria, your baby is not going to get off so easy. It's a small sacrifice to make for the health of your baby to give up soft serve ice cream, especially when there are so many better flavors available with hard ice cream!!!
    I don't see why not!
Of course you can. That is the best part of being pregnant.
i see no reason why u cannot eat ice cream
I hope so. I've been eating icecream. I've never heard anything about icecream not being okay.
I have eatin ice cream my whole pregnancy so far ';I am 19 weeks'; and everything is perfect with my son... Many pregnant women want and crave ice cream during pregnancy, and unless they have health issue all of them eat it. Relax and enjoy your ice cream... Congratulations and Best of Luck......
Hi Yes you can eat icecream whilst pregnant, but just stay away from soft serve icecream that you find at places like McDonalds, BurgerKing etc, If you have a milkshake make sure you ask for tubbed icecream, as in milkshakes they use the softserve. Softserve icecream is the liquid form which sits in the top of the mixer and when they pour it out it comes out as a cream substance which is not exactly safe to eat if your pregnant and this can harbour bacteria such as listeria which can cause problems and defects in the baby, but by all means go ahead and enjoy eating tubs of icecream, I know I do:)
Eat all you want...this is probably the only time in your life you can and won't feel guilty. =)
oops I just ate an Ice cream sandwich. LOL No its not bad for you or the baby, silly. I personally think my little one likes it cause she kicks like crazy everytime I eat one!
OF COURSE. HOPE YOU SMARTEN UP, YOU WILL BE RAISING A CHILD.

    Ingredients:

    4 eggs

    2 %26amp; 1/2 Cup sugar

    6 cups milk

    3 cups light cream

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 Tablespoons vanilla

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Directions:

    This recipe is handy if you have an old hand-turned ice-cream maker in your garage, attic or basement and have forgotten how to use it;

Beat the eggs until light and fluffy. Add the sugar gradually as you continue to beat. Do this until the mixture thickens.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour the mix into an old handcranked ice cream freezer, pack ice and salt around the sides of the bucket. Then grab the handle and start turning.

As soon as the ice cream thickens so much that you can hardly turn the crank, cover the whole ice cream maker with a heavy layer of newspaper (or equivalent) and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Then just pull out the bucket, pry off the lid and it's ready to eat!Vegetarian and Homemade ice cream recipes?

No, instead you will need to use heavy cream; otherwise, it just will not come out nearly as good no matter what you do.
Nope you need the highher fa content of the whipping/heavy cream.
No, half and half does not have enough fat content.
    Sure.

You just gotta whip it like there's no tomorrow.

Where did fried ice cream originate from?

if possible what is the recipe to it?Where did fried ice cream originate from?
    Fried ice cream

While recipes for fried, coated dairy products are ancient, food historians tell us the concept of encasing fozen ice cream in a hot edible shell dates back (at least) to the 19th century. Think baked Alaska.

Fried ice cream does not appear in Mexican cookbooks, posssibly meaning it is not a ';traditional'; Mexican recipe. Most likely? It is a contemporary ethnic interpretation of Baked Alaska, a popular upscale hot/cold ice cream dessert developed in the last quarter of the 19th century. This dessert employed meringue as the insulating agent between hot and cold. References to fried ice cream begin to appear in the second half of the 20th century. The insulating agent is (All-American) corn flakes. Perhaps this dish is TexMex?

Helen Brown's West Coast Cook Book [1952] contains a recipe for fried cream which discusses the concept of hot cream coated in cracker crumbs.

    ';Fried cream.

    Gourmets who visit San Francisco enthuse about this dessert, which is to be found at a few of the best hotels and restaurants. It's not ovent served at home, apparentlyy becuase most cooks don't dare risk it, but it's really very simplet ot make. It turns up in a San Diego cook book, under then name of ';Bonfire Entre.'; It was called that becuase the fried cream was cut in sticklike pieces and stacked up on individual plates like miniature and roofless log cabins. A couple of lumps of sugar, brandy-soaked, went into the center of each pile of ';logs,'; and matches graced the side of each plate.';

---West Coast Cook Book, Helen Evans Brown [Cookbook Collectors Library reprint edition] (p. 66)

[NOTE: Recipe follows this description. It includes Jamaica rum.]

Some Japanese-American restaurants offer a similar dessert...ice cream tempura. Likewise, this is not a traditional Asian meal item. It is the product of saavy restauranteurs adjust menus seeking to meet to American expectations.

The first reference to fried ice cream in The New York Times was an article on food offerings of the resort town of Cape May, New Jersey (';In Cape May, the Summer Stroller May Shop and Snack, Away from Traffic,'; Fred Ferrettis, July 3, 1972 (p. 6)). This article refers specifically to ';French fried ice cream (vanilla, frozen, dipped in batter, rolled in crushed corn flake crumbs, then fried to order.) This article does not connect fried ice cream with Latin American cuisine. A letter to the NYT editor published August 2, 1981 (p. XX24) notes a recipe for this item was published in the Los Angeles Times California Cookbook [1981], and reprints the recipe.

    Recipe

    Ingredients

    1 qt. vanilla ice cream

    1 (16 oz.) loaf King's Hawaiian Sweetbread

    1 box cornflakes, crushed

    2 eggs, beaten

    oil for frying

chocolate sauce or cinnamon sugar, optional

    Preparation

Scoop 6 ice cream balls approximately 2'; in diameter, place onto a plate. Set aside in freezer.

Slice six 1/2'; slices of the King's Hawaiian Sweetbread. Trim to 3'; x 7'; strips, crusts removed. Wrap one strip around each ice cream ball; press firmly to seal edges.

Place crushed cornflakes and beaten eggs into two separate shallow dishes. Roll wrapped ice cream balls first into the beaten eggs, then into the cornflakes. Return ice cream balls to freezer until you are ready to fry, for at least 1 hour.

When ready to fry, heat oil to 400 degrees F. One at a time, gently lower the balls into the oil and fry the wrapped ice cream for 15 to 20 seconds, until golden brown. Top with chocolate sauce or cinnamon sugar, if desired and serve immediately.Where did fried ice cream originate from?

  • Can anyone tell me the name of plant/small tree that has trumpet like flowers yellow or pink or cream.?

I am in CA, I see them often. They could be rooted from a small branch and grow even to a big tree. It is easy to grow and when adult and blooming the whole tree looks like huge chandelier. The trumpets are hanging down. They are the same size and same shape. It is sooo beautiful. Can anyone tell me the name of plant/small tree that has trumpet like flowers yellow or pink or cream.?
They are called Angels Trumpet. They are said to attract bats, but I have yet to see that for myself. Can anyone tell me the name of plant/small tree that has trumpet like flowers yellow or pink or cream.?
The common name is Angel's Trumpet, or Datura. They are root hardy (top may freeze back, but plant will survive) and should do well in California. Some parts are poisonous and/or halucinogenic---do not eat any of it. Nice fragrance in the evening...Lise from Texas

    Never-fail Fudge Frosting

    1/2 cup salted butter

    1/2 cup chocolate chips

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Place butter, sugar and cream into a medium size saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Turn down the heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes. Add the half cup chocolate chips, stir them in and remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla and the pecans if you decided to use them.

Pour the frosting on the cake and spread it out quickly with

a spatula. If you're pouring it on a warm cake or a cold cake, just grab the pan and tip it so the frosting covers the whole top. If you want this frosting to cool in a big hurry just slip it in the refrigerator uncovered for a half hour or so.

Why it is OK to eat unlimited sweet fruit but not OK to eat too sweet food like ice cream, candy, soda etc?

Especially for diabetic? Is the sugar in fruit different then the sugar in candy? Why it is OK to eat unlimited sweet fruit but not OK to eat too sweet food like ice cream, candy, soda etc?
The key to diabetes is moderation. Nothing is unlimited. Fruits are fine in the right portion size. Any sugar will have it's effects no matter the source but at least fruit has some nutritional value. Why it is OK to eat unlimited sweet fruit but not OK to eat too sweet food like ice cream, candy, soda etc?
Its not okay to eat unlimited sweet fruit.

Diabetes is more about HOW much you eat and less about WHAT you eat. A diabetic can eat anything as long as it is in moderation, carbs are counted and insulin is taken if needed.

The sugar in fruit isn't much different than that in candy or soda. The major difference is that some fruits have vitamins and some have fiber which is good for you. Ice cream, soda and candy for example are empty calories with not good nutritional value. They are loaded with fat, calories and sugar.

For example Im an insulin dependent diabetic. Last night my boyfriend and I shared some Dipps which are bites of ice cream covered in chocolate. The entire serving container was 30g of carbs/sugar. I had only half which was about 7 pieces while he had the other half meaning I splurged on about 15gs of sugar for a treat. 15g is totally acceptable as a snack for a diabetic. I only needed to take 1 unit of insulin to compensate for it.

Some fruits are very high in sugar, like a large size bananna which could be up to 30g of sugar. So this is what its important to count your carbs and monitor how much you eat.
    It's pretty simple.

    2 reasons:

REFINED Sugar makes your CARB content go through the roof.

Also REFINED Sugar (Simple) is processed in the body different than a single serving of fruit.

However, one with Diabetes cannot eat UNLIMITED amounts of fruit. Ya gotta measure that intake as well, or it will act LIKE REFINED sugar.
It's not OK to eat unlimited amounts of fruit, not at all. Did your doc tell you that? Please see an endocrinologist or at least an internist. Carbs are carbs. Doesn't matter much if it's fruit, candy, potatoes, juice, corn, etc...your body treats them all pretty much the same. Focus on lean meats, eggs, green leafy veggies, lentils, and squash, and sugar-free yogurt or pudding. Minimize fruit, sweets, potatoes, rice, pasta, milk, juice, and starches.
I suggest to use stevia which is natural sweetener.

Stevia is natural non caloric sweetener. it鈥檚 a small green plant, Its leaves have a delicious and refreshing taste 10-15 times sweeter than table sugar. Meanwhile the stevia extracts (steviosides) have 200-300 times the sweetness of table sugar

For more info about natural products check the free e -book at the source below
I am a type 1 diabetic since I was 8 (23 now) I have always been told to hold back on the fruits and sweets. Fruits are good for you, but full of sugar. you just have to be smart about it. Plus, fruit is much better for you than ice cream...so if you have a sugar craving, eat some grapes, an apple, orange, pear, STRAWBERRIES! (yum) instead, much better for you :)
I would guess the sugar in fruit is more natural and the sugar in candy is of a much higher sugar content and also processed sugar.
With Sugar is processed natural sweets in food has 15% of the refined.
    You are mistaken Mr. Sunset.

    We count carbohydrates.

    A carb is a carb is a carb !

Is it ok to shave then apply a benzyl paroxide based cream ?

the cream i got prescribed by my GP its called panoxyl ?Is it ok to shave then apply a benzyl paroxide based cream ?
No. I use Panoxyl too so I know what you're talking about.

It says on the leaflet inside (plus my GP told me) you should leave it at least half an hour after washing the face before applying the cream. Let your skin dry properly and rub it on before you go to bed or something. Even the weaker strengths of that stuff is powerful. I've burnt my face with it before and bleached all the towels so be careful with it.Is it ok to shave then apply a benzyl paroxide based cream ?
No, don't use it immediately after.

It's best to be applied at night, then left on throughout the night, then washed off in the morning, and then you can shave.

PanOxyl stains dyed-fabrics though, so don't be surprised when your blue pillow covers turn white!
You could, but I bet it hurts like hell!!! I would suggest you use the Panoxyl (it's strong) before bed, rather than applying it after shaving.

  • Am I having some kind of allergic reaction to this new cream?

I bought some new cream for my skin and put it on the night before. When I woke up, I noticed little tiny, itchy bumps just on my upper arm region. No where else. What could it be?Am I having some kind of allergic reaction to this new cream?
The list of could Be's is endless. Spider/insect bite, hives, blemish outbreak, or yes an allergic reaction. Watch it to see if it worsens maybe discontinue the cream if you think it might be the cause and see a doctor if the symptoms don't improve. Be well.

Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?

i had some at a place called Maggie Moo's, but i want some to have at home whenever i want it. it was very good!Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?
oooh no, but that sound REALLLY good!!

    Found this recipe online though:

    I love carrot cake. (In fact, everyone loves carrot cake.) I love ice cream. Of all the many desserts in the world, these are my favorites. ';Surely,'; I thought, ';there must be some way to combine them.';

    You'll need:

    4 eggs

    2 cups whole milk

    1 cup white sugar

    4 cups heavy cream

8 ounces (one package) cream cheese

    1 tsp vanilla

    1 cup grated carrot

    1/2 cup raisins

    1 cup brown sugar

    1/4 cup butter

Beat the eggs. Mix in the white sugar and milk. Heat over a low flame, stirring constantly, until thickened (about ten minutes).

When the mixture has cooled, add the heavy cream, cream cheese, and vanilla, and beat thoroughly. More air is better.

In a separate pan, combine butter, brown sugar, carrots, and raisins, and heat until gooey. Grate the carrot finely, but then again, not too finely. Proper carrot cake is a little stringy 鈥?that's part of its charm. You want the ice cream to preserve that quality.

Mix everything together, and chill it overnight. Dump it in your ice cream maker. (If you're short on these, see Tem42's excellent ice cream writeup for do-it-yourself instructions involving ice, a coffee can, and some duct tape. Or get some liquid nitrogen.) After a bit of hard, honest churning, you'll have yourself some carrot cake ice cream.

Not carrot cake with ice cream. Not ice cream with bits of carrot cake in it. Carrot cake ice cream. It tastes just like you'd expect.Does anybody know if you can buy carrot cake flavored ice cream anywhere and what brand?
I found Maggie Moos too. And Whiteys. And Moomers. Google it and see. It sounds great!
i found a recipe. Dont know how it tastes but you can try it. If you decide to make it let me know how it takes. I will however see if i can find any available for purchase. Good Luck...

    INGREDIENTS:

    5 egg yolks

    4 cups whole milk

    2 cups heavy cream

    1 cup white sugar

8 ounces (one package) cream cheese (room temperature)

    1 tsp vanilla

    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1 cup brown sugar

    1/4 cup butter

    1 1/2 cups grated carrot

    1/2 cup golden raisins

    1 tablespoon dark rum (optional)

    PREPARATION:

In a large pot, heat the milk and cream to a simmer. In a large bowl, add the egg yolks and white sugar. Beat with a whisk until the mixture thickens and becomes a pale yellow.

Slowly, while whisking vigorously, add a little (1/2 cup)of the hot milk and cream to the sugared eggs. Continue to add the hot milk and cream until all of it has been combined with the sugared eggs. Don't add the hot liquid too fast or the eggs will cook and lumps will form in the mixture.

Add the milk and eggs mixture back to the original pot and place over low heat. Heat the mixture while constantly stirring with a rubber spatula. Do not let the mixture boil or it will curdle. The mixture will slowly begin to thicken. When it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon it's done (about 7 to 10 minutes). Immediately remove heat and cool the mixture as fast as possible, preferably in an ice bath [Fill a large container or your kitchen sink with some ice and cold water. Transfer the ice cream mixture to another container (preferably stainless steel) and immerse it in the ice bath. Stir the mixture to cool it even faster.]

When the mixture has cooled to room temperature or below, stir in the vanilla and cinnamon. Add the cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until well combined. It's okay if there's a few small chunks of cream cheese. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

While the cream mixture is cooling, combine the brown sugar and butter in small pot over medium heat. When the sugar and butter are melted, stir in the carrots and raisins. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Fold this mixture into the cream mix with a rubber spatula.

When everything is sufficiently cold, give the mix a good stir to distribute all the bits evenly and add to an ice cream maker. Churn the mix according to the manufacturers directions.

Serve alone or with a bit of caramel sauce. Enjoy!
    THATS NASTY!!!! GET A LIFE!!!!

    What exactly is clotted cream?

I've heard of it being served with strawberries and am curious.

    Thanks.What exactly is clotted cream?
Clotted cream has the texture of sour cream, but without the ';sour'; taste. It is difficult and time consuming to make - a recipe I recall started with...8 quarts of cream in a stock pot, simmer and stir constantly for six hours...or something like that.

Sometimes called Devon Cream, Devonshire Cream or (my favorite) Double Devon cream. It can be ordered at a nicer supermarket, or at a British foodstore. It's expensive: be happy if 8oz costs under $10-15. But there is nothing like it. Yummmm! What exactly is clotted cream?
clotted cream is nothing like ';sour cream';, it's a very heavy cream made from unpasteurizer cow's milk, also called ';devon cream'; (I have some in the pantry)
a thick cream made chiefly in England by slowly heating whole milk on which the cream has been allowed to rise and then skimming the cooled cream from the top -- called also Devonshire cream
It's the same thing as sour cream.

It is actually very good with strawberries.

How to make Cheese Cream Sauce for Nachos?

    Ingredients

    U.S. Metric Conversion chart

    * 5 ounce(s) tortilla chips

    * 2 cup(s) (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack

    * 3 strip(s) bottled jalape帽o-pepper slices

    *

    Directions

    1. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. Place half the tortilla chips in 15 1/2'; by 10 1/2'; jelly-roll pan. Sprinkle with half the shredded cheese and top with half the jalape帽o-pepper slices. Broil until cheese melts and chips are lightly browned. Remove nachos to platter; repeat with remaining chips, cheese, and pepper slices.

You can omit the peppers if you dont like them. How to make Cheese Cream Sauce for Nachos?
Most cheese sauces are a cheese mixed with a Bechamel or milk sauce. Milk sauces are a pain to make, so you could try heating some chicken stock and using that to melt equal parts of cream cheese and a shredded cheddar. I would put the stock in a double boiler to help prevent burning of the cheeses as you keep the stock warm to mix the cheeses.
I always add some milk this is how I do it.

Put velveeta cheese in a microwavable bowl.Add 250ml of milk and microwave for about 2-3 minutes.

Take the cheese mixture out of the microwave and stir together.Add more milk and microwave for 2 mins.If the cheese has not melted add more milk and microwave for another 2 mins.Until it is smooth.

    OR

Put velveeta cheese in a microwavable bowl and microwave until it is melted.
You can take some evaporated milk...heat it up...and once it's close to boiling...turn off the heat and add either cubed velveeta.....or some shredded cheddar cheese. You can also use half shredded cheese and half shredded cheese that is taco flavored. You can also make this real simple by heating up a jar of cheez whiz. Cheez whiz also comes in a spicy version if you want some kick to it.
    Maybe this?

The rash is on my face and arms and it itches. I'm not going anywhere till tomorrow, do you think its okay to put a little Lamisil on it until I go to the store? It's a little skin irritation.

Thanks in advance!I have a little rash but all I have is Lamisil cream?
Lamisil is an antifungal. Unless your rash is a fungus, the Lamisil isn't really going to help it any. You're better off taking some Benadryl - the medicine will suppress your allergic reaction to whatever is causing the rash (that's what a rash is, an immune system reaction to something that irritated the skin) and help relieve the itching. Good luck!

    3 ounces white chocolate, chopped

2 cups half-and-half or whole milk

2 cups hot freshly brewed coffee

Heat the white chocolate and milk over medium heat, or for 2 minutes on high. Stir occasionally until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

    Add the coffee.

Pour into large cappucino style mugs. If you are so inclined you can add a little whipped cream and/or chocolate curls. Serve hot.

    Makes 4-6 servings
You can ask for it with or without whip. I never get whipped cream鈥搄ust personal taste.

I usually get skim milk in my drinks at Starbucks. Even 2% tastes too creamy to me now... ;-)

And the White Chocolate Mocha is good, and if you want a cold drink, the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino is amazing also.
By standard, the White Chocolate Mocha would be made with whipped cream and 2% milk. Even though the whipped cream is standard for the drink, they'll still ask you if you'd like it on yours.

Personally, I prefer my drinks without whipped cream. I feel the natural foam from the steamed milk has the same effect, without the added calories.

When i put face cream why does my face feel oily and greasy after?

its nivea for men with spf 15 its an oil free face moisterizer.....i berly started using it today and i only put alittle but not even alittle just like a little dot around the whole face..and it feels real greasy...is this good at all? When i put face cream why does my face feel oily and greasy after?
It shouldn't feel greasy. It might be making your skin produce MORE oil. I would try one of the Neutrogena products for men. My husband has really good luck with that line. I have to also say that I am impressed when men take care of their skin -- I think that's awesome! I would just try another brand and see if it works better with your skin.

mmmm....strawberryWhat flavour of ice cream goes with cr锚me de menthe--green then white?
Try a reallly rich chocolate..its great

    White is very pretty.
Creme de menthe goes well with either chocolate or vanilla.
I would say any pistachio flavors...They are green, and what goes better with booze, but nuts?
    Vanilla would be best.
    I would say Vanilla
Traditionally, a good quality vanilla ice cream is best
    Vanilla

    Mint Chocalate Chip

    Chocolate

    Chocalte Chip

all of these flavors would work fine for you
Anything other than vanilla is going to make you sick.

However you can try the following:

2 scoops Mint chip ice cream

    1 cup milk

    1 tsp. Nescafe Iced Java

    crushed ice

    two fingers of vodka

Run it through a blender then stir in creme de menthe.

This is the kind of drink Jiminy Glick was weened on.
