Where did Fantasia Ice Cream go?

I'm a regular at Disneyland, and for the past year or two, fantasia ice cream has been MIA. This is a major bummer. Anyone know where it's gone and if it's ever coming back?Where did Fantasia Ice Cream go?
This banana-pistachio-cherry flavored ice cream was introduced at Disneyland in summer 2003. Unfortunately there wasn't enough of a demand for it and Nestle (manufacturer of Dreyers brand) decided that the demand wasn't enough to continue production.

If you have a local Cold Stone Creamery near you, you can ask them for a base of sweet cream ice cream with pistachio syrup (and chopped pistachios) mixed with cherry pie filling and banana.Where did Fantasia Ice Cream go?
Yeah, I agree. It is sad :( Report Abuse

i dont know but i was at disneyland yesterday and it definitely was not there.

  • Anyone heard of anything other than cucumbers, tea bags, and hemmeroid cream to reduce dark under eye circles?

I am looking for answers with like a home remedy, rather than an expensive cosmetic eye cream. I've tried them. Also, can anyone tell me why they get SOOOOO much worse when I cry?Anyone heard of anything other than cucumbers, tea bags, and hemmeroid cream to reduce dark under eye circles?
and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

warm white bread in microwave to body temp (it takes about 8 secs),pop that on them mind you dont get crumbs in your eyes ,it really works x
Yellow concealer works great !!! I use one by MaryKay. Been using if for 35 years.

When you cry it brings the blood closer to the skins surface making skin coloration even darker.
Get your beauty sleep...there's a reason 4 it....also, mite try a cold gel mask
The skin under your eyes is just much thinner than the rest of your skin, so it bruises more easily. It also shows when you are dehydrated, so make sure you're getting enough water to drink each day. I have heard of people using leeches for black eyes, but I don't think run of the mill dark circles are caused by blood deposits.
Try the spoon dipped in water with ice...
: I have serious dark circles. What should I do?

A: If you have serious dark circles, you have three options. You can spend the rest of your life covering them with foundation or other concealers. You can try surgery and hope for the best.

Q: I've never had a problem with dark circles. All of a sudden, I have serious dark circles under my eyes. What should I do?

A: If your dark circles appear suddenly and they're seriously dark, they could be a symptom of an underlying condition. It's possible that you're experiencing an allergic reaction to something or possibly even malnutrition. In this case, speak to your doctor about your dark circles and be sure to include a list of any recent changes in your life to help your doctor determine the cause of your dark circles.

Q: Aren't all dark circles really caused by fatigue or lack of sleep?

A: Absolutely not. The leading cause of dark circles is heredity. Fatigue and lack of sleep make your skin look paler, which makes all discolorations more noticeable.

Fatigue and lack of sleep can contribute to dark circles but do not cause them.
st ives came up w/ this amazing stuff called eye and stress gel. it a cool gel that you put under your eyes before you sleep and after you wake. it dries fast so you can apply make up on right away. good price also. worked for me. im always cramming to study for my sat. will help....garunteed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?

The question says it all...any specific brands though? Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?
You can try Preparation-H cream, suppositories and medicated wipes. If the pain is really bad you can put warm compresses on the hemorrhoids. If this doesn't help then you can go to a proctologist and he can give you an exam and give you some stronger presciption medication to help with the swelling and the pain. Also stay away from spicy foods as this adds to the problem. Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?

Can vegetarians eat cream of chicken soup?

there is some chicken in it but not really enough to taste it. does it count? Can vegetarians eat cream of chicken soup?
Sorry, there's chicken in it. Go for cream of potato or something like that

xoxoCan vegetarians eat cream of chicken soup?
I'm sorry, I could hardly stop laughing when I read your question. It just reminded me so much of my younger days, when I watched enough Monty Python to memorize most of the skits:

    ';But I don't like Spam!';

    ';Well, you could order the 'Spam, Spam, Baked Beans, and Spam.' That's not got MUCH Spam in it!';
No. Even if there wasn't any chicken in it, vegetarians still couldn't eat it because it's base is made with a chicken stock. If if was made with a vegetarian stock, then it would be okay.
Vegetarian cannot eat cream of chicken soup. They don't eat things made with or from meet. They don't eat chicken broth and that's just the boiled off fat and water.
    Um...yes...it counts...it has CHICKEN in it...not vegetarian
Just because you can't taste the chicken, doesn't mean you're not eating meat.
Absolutely NOT! There is chicken in the soup.
if you're a vegetarian who doesnt eat chicken

then no u cannot eat it
    No, they can't eat it.

  • Does anyone have the picture of the protective spray or cream that is used before straightening your hair?

The one that is made by farouk company?

There's a small store near my home that has it. it says farouk silk or something but I'm not sure if it's the original because it looks weird. And it doesn't it protects your hair it just says it makes it soft or something.Does anyone have the picture of the protective spray or cream that is used before straightening your hair?
You are probably referring to Chi Silk infusion. It is in a grayish bottle with a red cap. It is made by Farouk. I use it and love how it works with my chi iron. It keeps my hair straight for days. You can also use it on your skin as well. Check out the link below or either go to google.com and just type in Chi Silk infusion. Hope this helps.

Is it legal to have an Ice Cream truck sell ice cream on school property?

(In the sense of medical issues i.e. diabetes, etc.) is it legal to sell ice cream (ice cream truck) on school property (after school.) Furthermore, is it legal to call an ice cream truck owner and tell him to come to school property and sell ice cream? Is it legal to have an Ice Cream truck sell ice cream on school property?
I believe you would have to ask for the schools permission if its going to be on school grounds. But if its on the same street I believe you wouldn't. I would check with the school or the school district on theyre rules. Is it legal to have an Ice Cream truck sell ice cream on school property?
i guess that would be between the school and the vender....tho i don't think its right...not all kinds can come with money...so it might cause problems....we used to have one that stopped.. but it was off the property...and a lil down the block.. but was still close... no pressure.. on the kids..
Why wouldn't it be legal? If the ice cream truck has a license and has permission from the school to sell on their property then what would the problem be? If you have diabetes etc then simply don't buy the ice cream and eat it.
There might be some school districts that have rules prohibitng sales of ice cream on school grounds, but there is no universal, world-wide law like that.
Well they'll probably need a sort of pass thing from the school government thing and also a CRB check would be usefull as it's working ';around'; children.
No i dont believe so. it should be fine try it and see what happends, furthermore i am 90% sure they would let you do that.
sure, just no crack or meth sales to the kiddes.

What type of cream is best to use?

My 4 month has extremely dry skin and my doctor told me to use cream on her instead of lotion. Anyone know of a good brand to use? What type of cream is best to use?
Vaseline Instensive Care Lotion. It's a white bottle with dark blue top.

also, be careful with the temp of the water you bathe her in. hotter water contributes to drier skin.

either lotion you pick... just make sure it is unscented. no fragrance or dyes.

    good luck!

all the best :)What type of cream is best to use?
My son had extremely dry skin too. My sons doctor first suggested to alternate between cortaid and eucerin. (since cortaid or cortezone is a steriod. use should always alternate, and only use it for a week)

or what i found to work the best (since that method didnt work for my son) i found AVEENO lotion (for extremely dry skin, it comes with a dark blue top) to work wonders. def. helped my son's skin. You can even get the body wash/shampoo... and then apply the lotion after giving your daughter a bath.
Eucerin or Cetaphil cream works very well. We use Cetaphil only because we can get it in bulk at Costco. My kids and I have very sensitive skin. We use fragrance free soap (Dove or Oil of Olay sensitive), laundry detergent, fabric softener, and lotion. If any of us are starting to get a dry patch on our skin I apply a thick layer of the lotion after a shower or bath and it usually clears it right up.
Yes. My son had it as well. Stop using the Johnsons %26amp; Johnsons products if you are using those. Or any of the baby smelly good kinds. Its not good for their skin.

Buy EUCERIN lotion. And DOVE (unscented) body wash. It cleared my sons skin up within a week.

We first thought it was the lotion.. so we changed that and just kept using the body wash.. but nothing changed... so once we changed the body wash too...his dry skin cleared up.
Eucerin is excellent for VERY dry skin; I am also a big fan of Baby Einstein lotion- it works well with dry skin, and smells fantastic!
    Aquafor works really well.
cetaphil ...it works the best for babys dry skin..

This is for a group of kids for ages 3-13.Where is there a place in the dallas/ fort worth area where you can make your own ice cream?
Ya - your kitchen!! What could be more fun than doing it at home?!? As the first answerer said, you just need to buy an ice cream maker, and you'll be all set to do it the old fashioned way! (Well, not entirely the old fashioned way, as they are electric now, and you don't have to do all the hand churning/cranking!!)Where is there a place in the dallas/ fort worth area where you can make your own ice cream?
You could buy an ice cream freezer and make it at home.
you could use the ice cream maker like the Deni automatic ice cream maker raspberry

Just wondering, can cream cheese be frozen?

I love to make New York style cheese cakes from time to time and would like to stock up when it is on sale.Just wondering, can cream cheese be frozen?
Regular brick cream cheese can be frozen up to 2 months for use as an ingredient in recipes.

http://kraftfoods.com/main.aspx?m=contac鈥?/a>Just wondering, can cream cheese be frozen?
Yes but it is not going to taste any good when you eat it. You better not freeze it.
    yes
My mom once put my cream cheese packs in the freezer, I defrosted and found it got dehydrated, not as creamy when I mixed it with sugar, the texture changed. I would not like to have frozen cream cheese as ingredient again! It tasted the same, just the texture changed, dry, not so smooth. So as sour cream, it becomes crumby
yes, you can freeze it, just put it in the fridge the night before you want to use it, and let it thaw in there over night..
Yes, it can. But you have to let soften, before you use it, on the day that you're going to use it.
It doesn't go bad if frozen but the texture is very dry and crumbly after it's thawed. I'm not sure how well that would work in a cheesecake recipe.

Does wild yam cream work for heavy periods and spotting between periods?

Wild Yam cream is marketed as containing chemicals that turn into Progesterone but this is misleading. In laboratories and compounding pharmacies they use special techniques and processes which turn the chemical compound found in wild yams and soybeans (diosgenin) into bio-identical progesterone. Our bodies lack the enzymes to convert diosgenin into progesterone. So beware.

It has been known for decades that hypothyroidism causes menorrhagia (heavy periods). This can even be the case if your blood tests are normal for thyroid function. Does wild yam cream work for heavy periods and spotting between periods?
As a former Nurse, this is not ';normal';. See a doctor/physician Miss/Mrs. Menopause can cause your symptoms as can a tumor or cysts. In my past I had heavy periods with no cancer. It was age and hormones. My gynecologist had me take one motrin three times a day and it stopped. Of course all medication has side effects and some of those side efects may be as serious as death. Does wild yam cream work for heavy periods and spotting between periods?
Dude why don't just read up on menstruation.

If you hate menstruation so much then stop trying to pick women because the very spot have to penetrate during intimacy is the same spot menstruation comes out of.

Chamomile tea before, during and after menstruation is the best even when you are around.

Why is ice cream so expensive?

I went to the grocery store today and it's almost $5 for a half gallon and around $9 for a gallon. I'm just kind of curious!!Why is ice cream so expensive?
Because gas is expensive. The price of transporting milk to a plant and then to stores, all while keeping it cold has raised the price. At least the price of ice cream hasn't almost tripled like the price of gas has the last three years. Why is ice cream so expensive?
Because it's soo good. You have to buy it when it goes on sale. Check your supermarket circulars regularly. I usually buy Turkey Hill when it goes on sale $5.00 for two half gallons.
Hmmm i only pay $1.99 for mine. What kind of ice cream do you buy for that price?!
Because it's so darned delicious. Ice Cream is the most scrumptious stuff since oh, EVER! It's the food of the gods. It's scrumdidlyumptious. It's supreme. It's sinfully tempting. It's beautiful perfection in an ugly carton. Ok, you get the drift, don't even get me started on ice cream.
I've noticed the same thing. It's because the price of milk is going up because the price of feeding the cows or the farm is going up. it's a chain reaction.
I don't know, but milk prices have gone up, probably causing ice cream prices to do the same.
sometimes they have sales so that you can get half gallon for $2. You have a Giant Grocery Store in your area? They usually have a good deal. Perhaps one of the reasons for the added costs is because it cost money to keep it frozen.
    cause it's soooooo good! :)~
Look how much you have to pay for a gallon of milk. All dairy prices are high.
It's probably the same reason milk is expensive.
The price of milk is going up.
We're told that the increased price of milk results in the increased price of ice cream, and other milk-based products. Yes, it does pain us to have to pay so high a price, especially $4.00 a gallon for skim milk. Ouch!!!!!!

Can you get sick (cold) from eating too much ice cream/ cold food during the winter?

    Just wondering...

What about if you are in the cold too long? Can you get sick (cold) from eating too much ice cream/ cold food during the winter?
    NO.

The common cold is a virus and has absolutely nothing to do with how cold you get. You are a warm blooded Mammal. Unless you are suffering from hypothermia (so a cold is the least of your worries) your body temperature will not change significantly weather you are inside or out.

The reason that more people get sick during cold weather is that more people are around each other within an enclosed area (inside a warm house). During the summer you keep the windows open (fresh air), or are outside with grater distance between each other.

Think about it this way, if you are sick and in the hospital with extreme lung illness they put you in a tent and pump COLD moist air into it. Just like the Cold air outside. Can you get sick (cold) from eating too much ice cream/ cold food during the winter?
    ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BOTH QUESTIONS
    being cold doesn't give you a ';cold'; it just lowers your immune system and makes it easier for you to catch a ';cold';
no you can eat anything without getting sick unless its like food poisoning or something like that. however, if you're in the cold too long, than theres definately the possibility of getting a cold
Cold things and cold weather don't cause colds... viruses do.

However, cold weather can weaken the lining of the nasal passages and allow viruses easier access to your bloodstream.

Eating cold food isn't going to do anything, other than put on the pounds.
No %26amp; perhaps. Whether you catch a cold from exposure depends on a lot of factors. For example, your immune system and who you're with, etc.
No, no and no. You have to be exposed to the virus itself, whether it's hot or cold. Being cold or in the cold has absolutely no bearing on it.
no you cant get sick. if you could, they would stop selling slurpees at 7-11 during the winter season
No, your body should be able to maintain it's homeostasis.... Unless you eat 2 tons in one sitting
No. Your body will maintain its own temperature even when you ingest cold foods.
    No and no
No, you can't get sick from eating cold stuff or being in the cold. You get sick from bacteria and viruses. The only reason people get sick more often in the winter is because they don't air out their habitats (open windows) to air out the viruses. These viruses also live longer in the warm temps (when heaters are on). So, no, you don't get sick from cold weather.
The way I understand it is that if you are in the cold too long, your body's immune system is weakened temporarily, allowing the cold virus to attack and make you sick. Eating cold food? I don't know about that, but I guess it can still apply if the cold food weakens your immune system.
no a cold is a virus. If you are in the cold too long without proper clothing you can become more apt to get the cold virus because your bodies immunity goes down.
Only if the food has germs on it.
no you can't catch a cold from being in the cold; a cold is a viris and being in the cold can actually help you
the cold does not give u a cold. having the cold could cause problems, like girls who wear their tops short and the cold can affect their kidneys. or being in the cold and straight away moving into the warmth can cause a cold. but rumors of staying out of the rain because you could get sick is faulse. thats my opinion anyways.

is there any other thing that could help stop the itching her doctor gave her some medication and it dont work i told him and he really could of cared lessWhat is the best way to help eczema my daughter is a 16 monthes old i use hydrocortizone cream?
Have you tried rubbing a dollup of chili on the trouble areas? Short of breaking her fingers, that's about all you can do.What is the best way to help eczema my daughter is a 16 monthes old i use hydrocortizone cream?
Sounds like you need a new doctor. Have you tried Aveeno Oatmeal baths and lotions?
my daughters had it also and I know what you're going through with the doctor. At least, your doctor gave you a prescription for something...ours didn't even wanna do that.

my husband would wash the area where our daughters had it like they usually show up on their arm, the opposite part from where the elbow is, and behind their knees. After washing it, he'd put diaper rash cream there and a bandage to loosely cover that area so the cream wouldn't get all over the clothes they were wearing but if they wore short sleeve shirts and shorts he wouldn't have to put a bandage on. Then after many hours later, wash the cream off really good and apply more cream again. Just keep doing that until the eczema has healed, although, of course it will keep coming back every now and then since as far as I know there is no cure for eczema.
like someone stated, I know what you are going through, my daughter has is and we have been using hydrocortizone as well, it helps a lot - even more than what the doctor prescribed but I guess the doctors don't really care all that much maybe because they know it's not really a cure I guess, not sure, right now we are using that Naturals brand eczema baby dody wash that you find in the baby section whenever we bathe her at night, and then put that hydrocortizone cream on her, but the wash doesn't seem to be helping - we heard that pine tar soap that you get from Whole Foods works well but we haven't tried it yet
I use Aveeno for my son. They have a great line of lotions and milk baths for eczema.

My doctor told us that proper, continual moisturizing helps prevent the outbreaks.
yeah, i had that when i was younger as well, some of the things i used were

    sarna anti-itch cream

    calamine lotion

    good luck!
first off I don't understand why they give creams becuase they never stay on,ointments are better,Betamethsaone valerate is very good please hydrocortizone never works that doc has to come better than that you can buy hydrocotizone over the counter you need prescribed meds for that,in the mean time use aveeno products you can also try the cooling cream, its expensive but it helps, the doctor knows the baby has eczema so call him on the phone and say she is very irritated, and red and crying and itchy, and the meds he prescibed is not working may you please have something stronger, just becareful becuase they are all steriods.have the doc call something into the pharmacy.
and kill her kidneys with the hydrocortizone cream

go see a homeopath for a friendly remedy

I recommend trying all natural Small Wonder Creamy Baby Oil. It's been very successful in treating this condition. It's more like a cream than an oil. It provides the same benefits and protection but it's faster absorbing and less greasy. It's pH balanced and dermatologist tested for delicate skin, and contains soothing vitamin E and allantoin to help prevent dryness and irritation.

I also suggest you consider treating it internally with all natural Optiflora. Many times an imbalance of ';good'; and ';bad'; bacteria can cause this type of skin condition. It's a two-product system that includes Probiotic (Bifidus %26amp; Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Due to its patented encapsulation process, delivery of 500 million microflora is guaranteed to the intestines. It's safe for all ages - infants to seniors - with no side effects.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are ';permanent'; hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. Any ideas on how to make whipped cream Butterscotch/toffee cream? and not runny?

I want to make a layered toffee/butterscotch cake but not sure what i could add to whipped cream to give it some flavour. The cream needs to be solid enough to hold up a couple of layers of cake! Help!

http://www.culinarycrusades.co.ukAny ideas on how to make whipped cream Butterscotch/toffee cream? and not runny?
To have the best quality whipped cream, you need to make it yourself.

If you have a mixer, or if you have a whisk you can do it by hand.

    1qt of Heavy Cream (chilled)

    3oz of sugar

    2 tsp. of Vanilla Extract

    1-2 oz of warm caramel

Place the cream in a chilled mixing bowl. Using the whisk, whisk the cream until slightly thickened.

Add the sugar and vanilla and continue to whick until its at the desired consistency.

Whisk one quarter of the whipped cream into the caramel vigorusly. Then gently fold the remaining cream.

This is goin` to make the whipped cream have a velvety texture.

If this is not what you're looking for and you want a flavored whipped cream without changing the texture, then add an almond extract as well as vanilla. Only use a tsp or whatever to your liking.

Good luck !!Any ideas on how to make whipped cream Butterscotch/toffee cream? and not runny?
OK. this question is a tough one, but I am going to give you a few answers. One of these should work for you. This is more of a trial and error to adjust the cream so work with small amounts that you can gage the results.

I have found that placing the frosting bowl in another bowl filled with Ice and water will stiffen it up but it does not always last.

    2. you can add a bit of confectioner's sugar to it and whip it.

    3. Personally I find that under whipping the cream helps in the final product, Why? I think it is because some of the liquid from the cream gets absorbed into the cake, and give it some time between layers.

    4. Unflavored Gelatin can also be used as a stabilizer.

    5. Also powdered milk

Check method 4 and 5 on this site
You can mix in about 1/2 a cup of store-bought dulce de leche into the cream and whip until stiff.

You can see what a jar looks like at http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl鈥?/a>
get a can of condensed milk and put it in a pot and boil it for about 1 hour - make sure u top it the water up -- DONT OPEN THE TIN TILL IT IS VERY COOL - OTHERWISE IT WILL EXPLODE

when its very cool open the can and u will ahve the best caramel ever

in the tin and mix it with a little whipped creamm yummmmmy

If you dog has quick & unexpected lick at your ice cream cone?

do you throw it away or keep on eating it?If you dog has quick %26amp; unexpected lick at your ice cream cone?
I would carry on eating, but it were Josh my old black Lab, then I wouldn't get the chance, he could eat a full ice cream cone in one bite!!!If you dog has quick %26amp; unexpected lick at your ice cream cone?
It's good to know that I'm not crazy for sharing my ice cream with my little Yorkie. I always share my ice cream and whatever I'm eating with him. What can I say....... He's my little baby.
Get them their own. Our dogs have their own ice cream in the freezer. Once I got them theirs I would continue to eat mine.
That would depend upon where the dogs tongue had been just before the lick!
Keep eating unless they'd just chowed down on kitty poop or something disgusting
I would share it. I also give mine bites off my fork at my meals.
LOL depends what she's just been licking before it!
At the price of ice cream today it would be sinful to throw it away.

Besides. Though dogs may eat a few things you might not, like your mouth, after a little time it is all cleaned out anyway.
probably keep eating...maybe scrape a layer off the part she licked.
i would wipe the side then eat...
I share with them all the time.
Whatever you want to do. If you do not feel comfortable eating after your dog wipe it off where he licked and keep eating it. If you are a true dog lover then share it with him.
Now that depends. Firstly, the dog has to up to date with worming and vaccinations. Secondly, if my Kelpie did it, I'd keep the cone. If one of my shepherds did it, I'd throw it away. The reason being that my shepherds eat all sorts of yuck things and the kelpie doesnt. She's a fair bit cleaner!
    you lick the dog back
I get a spoon and scrape off any ice cream the dog's tongue or lips may have touched and then I finish the rest. I also make sure my dogs can't get to my ice cream so it doesn't happen in the first place.
keep eating. but that is only for my dogs. I do share my milk and water with my cats too. lol.
    Keep eating it!
eat the part that he didnt lick
I keep eating it. I will let my dogs eat from my fork too. Many people find it gross, but my wife and I both do it. When I have a bowl of cereal, my one cat jumps up on the arm of the chair and drinks milk from my bowl. Our animals are our children.
If it's not chocolate then share it with him, it's only fair. Actually in moderation only though. :-)
If it's my dog I try and wipe off the part he/she licked and keep eating. Dog's are part of the family too. :)
i would share the whole thing with him.
    I would throw it away!

Does Eating A Cream Cheese Bagel Make You Gassy?

Every day in school that is what I eat, and the next period all I am doing is farting. Does it make you gassy?Does Eating A Cream Cheese Bagel Make You Gassy?
It's very possible. The bagel itself is probably not causing your gas, but you may be lactose intolerant. Up to 70% of all human adults are lactose intolerant.

Lactose intolerance is a condition where the digestive system lacks or has a limited availability of an enzyme called lactase that is used to dissolve the sugars in dairy.

Symptoms include: nausea, cramping, bloating, diarrhea, and flatulence

Clinical symptoms typically appear within 30 minutes but may take up to 1-2 hours depending on other foods and activities.

Instead of using cream cheese on your bagel try margarine, peanut butter, hummus, or an olive tapenade.Does Eating A Cream Cheese Bagel Make You Gassy?
That happens to me!! I mean, oh you're a weirdo.... lol ;)
You know I love milk and cream cheese and sour cream but thats what happens to me too so I restrict me eating of milk products to weekends.Your just sensitive to it probly.I am downright allergic and it really bothers me.
Obviously...it does to you. So maybe you shouldn't eat that anymore...if it's a concern.

Especially if i have indian skin...sometimes we tend to go darker e\when exposed to the sun.Whats the best cream to lighten skin safetly?
the best skin lightening product should NOT contain hydroquinone, mercury or steroids.. but success in skin lightening is also dependent on the proper use of the product, type of sunscreen, moisturizers and/or supplements taken with the regimen.. sunscreen should be of high spf (45 or better) for your type of skin to prevent further darkening or sun damage..Whats the best cream to lighten skin safetly?
Alpha Hydrox Fade Cream. But be careful, and you have to use sunscreen every day so you don't undo your 'work.' I lightened some spots I use, but my skin got too irritated. The creams that work are also strong.

Recipes with whipped cream and chocolate chips?

I have whipped cream and chocolate chips at my house and i don't know what to make with them. I would rather have them together in the recipe.

Please help me???Recipes with whipped cream and chocolate chips?
Is the cream already whipped, or do you have a carton of whipping cream? If the latter, this is a really good and easy recipe:

    1 cup chocolate chips

    3/4 cup whipping cream

    1 large egg

    1. Place the chocolate chips in a blender and pulse to coarsely chop. Pour into a bowl and set aside.

    2. Crack the egg into the blender.

    3. Heat the cream to boiling in a large glass measuring cup, about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes in the microwave. Watch carefully to prevent over boiling.

    4. Turn the blender on and pour in the boiling cream. Add the chopped chocolate chips and blend until smooth, about 1 minute.

    5. Pour into 4 1/2-cup ramekins and chill for 30 minutes to an hour.Recipes with whipped cream and chocolate chips?
    2 cups chilled heavy cream

    4 large egg yolks

    3 tablespoons sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla

7 oz fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened), chopped

    Garnish: lightly sweetened whipped cream

    Special equipment: an instant-read thermometer

PreparationHeat 3/4 cup cream in a 1-quart heavy saucepan until hot. Whisk together yolks, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a metal bowl until combined well, then add hot cream in a slow stream, whisking until combined. Transfer mixture to saucepan and cook over moderately low heat, stirring constantly, until it registers 160掳F on thermometer. Pour custard through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl and stir in vanilla.

Melt chocolate in a double boiler or a metal bowl set over a pan of simmering water (or in a glass bowl in a microwave at 50 percent power 3 to 5 minutes), stirring frequently. Whisk custard into chocolate until smooth, then cool.

Beat remaining 1 1/4 cups cream in a bowl with an electric mixer until it just holds stiff peaks. Whisk one fourth of cream into chocolate custard to lighten, then fold in remaining cream gently but thoroughly.

Spoon mousse into 8 (6-ounce) stemmed glasses or ramekins and chill, covered, at least 6 hours. Let stand at room temperature about 20 minutes before serving.

    Cooks' notes:

鈥?Mousse can be chilled up to 1 day.

鈥?To vary the flavor, you can replace the 1 teaspoon vanilla with 2 teaspoons instant-espresso powder (dissolve it in the hot cream) or 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier or 2 tablespoons Cognac (either one whisked into strained custard).

How much barrier cream do you generally use on your baby?

For a school project. How much barrier cream do you generally use on your baby?
NONE - it traps moisture on the skin which can make a rash even worse. Small amount of corn starch with every diaper change and my 4 month old hasn't had diaper rash once! How much barrier cream do you generally use on your baby?
Just a little dab on my finger. Enough to put a thin film on the affected area.

If you are talking about frequency, I use it whenever her little bottom gets a little red. I typically use it at night too, to prevent a rash b/c I know she'll be in a wet diaper for longer than she would be during the day.
I don't use any. Disposable nappies draw moisture away from your baby's skin to keep them dry if you use a barrier cream it sticks to the surface of the nappy and stops it absorbing water. Neither of my children have suffered a nappy rash.
only use it when bottom is sore, you cant beat fresh air and a barrier not only blocks out nasties but also blocks air. i use a mixture made of metanium and vasaline.
Like it says on the tube, a 'generous' amount.
as much as you need to...whick is nort a hole lot
I only use a little when he gets a little red. He's never actually had a rash.

  • Would placing acne cream on throat affect breathing?

I have some acne on my throat. I also have some perscription acne cream that I use on my face from my dermatologist.

Is it OK to put the cream on my throat? Reason I ask is because typically when I place the cream on skin, it tends to really tighten it up. I'm just worried that putting the cream on my throat will tighten it up and affect my breathing.

Should I worry?Would placing acne cream on throat affect breathing?
It depends on the type of acne. Talk to a dermatologist. But what worked for me was tanning. 5 minutes in a tanning bed three times a week took care of most of my acne, especially on the back, chest, and shoulders. my dermatologist prescribed differin gel for my face and it worked to.Would placing acne cream on throat affect breathing?
No. I think that you will be fine, unless of course you are allergic to the cream. To restrict you airways it would have to pull it REALLY tight, and a topical cream isn't going to be able to do that.
your answer is in the site mentioned in my sources
you have acne on your throat???? no one can see it, I wouldn't risk putting cream on it... it might not even taste good!
what cream is it cos it sounds good.. i need some!!!!!!!!

    Do vegetarians eat cream cheese?

I recentlly dicided to become a vegetarian and am getting used to what foods i can and cannot eat. I know cream cheese is made from dairy products but are there any other animal products in it that I should know about? do vegetarians normally eat cream cheese?Do vegetarians eat cream cheese?
yeah, unless you're vegan. vegetarians don't eat dead animals or fish.Do vegetarians eat cream cheese?
There's nothing wrong with cream cheese.

But jello and yogurt and jelly like candies involve an ingredient called ';gelatin'; which derives from animals.

It's actually in a lot of things. Look into that. Here's the wikipedia link for it:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelatin
most vegetarians stay away from dairy, vegans advoid it like the plague:-)

    ..
vegetarians are allowed to but i guess it depends on the person

    vegans....definitely no
Cream cheese does not contain rennet, (at least not the major brands) so it's safe for vegetarians. Many other cheeses will have rennet- scrapings from the inside of a calf's stomach- and those are not considered vegetarian.
usually vegitarians will eat cream cheese but vegans wont because it has lactose in it which comes from a cow
vegetarians will eat cream cheese most of the time. some will not eat dairy at all while others will eat milk and eggs.

the term for this is ova vegetarian (eggs) or a lacto vegetarian (dairy). the thing that makes cheeses taboo is the fact that some are made of Rennet, which is extracted from the stomach lining of cows and other animals.
    yes, but not vegans.

just be sure to look over the ingredients in most foods and always tell your waitress that you're a vegetarian when you go out to eat because restaraunts are always adding meat to their food without informing people about it.
Yes, vegetarians do eat cream cheese and other cheese as log as they do not use animal rennets. Even though I do know a few that will still eat any cheese. Vegetarians also will eat unfertilized eggs. Gelatin is food vegetarians avoid because of how gelatin is made. Most people also do not realize that normal marshmallows are not vegetarian because they contain gelatin.
yeah my best friend is vegetarian and she LOVE bagels and cream cheese....Im pretty sure you can find organic cream cheese that isnt made from dairy products at like a Whole Foods Market or Trader Joe's or even the organic section of your local grocery store...
vegan's don't eat cream cheese - vegetarians do
YES! I happen to be a vegetarian, and I can't believe how clueless they can be. I guess if you were a vegan though than they wouldn't. They don't even eat cheese or milk, or any other dairy product.
What is the reason behind your vegetaianism, obviously there isnt any meat in cream cheese, and even if there was something from dead animals, they dont kill animals to make it. And vegans dont eat anything that is made of animals, or comes from animals.
i do, and a lot of it! i love bagels mmmmm

vegetarians don't eat the actual animal flesh,

vegans on the other hand, don't eat anything that is an animal or product of animal.
There are not any hidden animals products in cream cheese. Its one of the few safe vegetarian cheeses. Vegans don't eat cream cheese.
It depends on if the cream cheese contains rennet and/or gelatin, both of those products are the insides of an animals body, and some cheese's contain either of the products to harden the cheese or settle it, but some cheese's replace gelatin for starch and so do some jello's switch gelatin for starch so it can be suitable for vegetarians, if the cream cheese was suitable for vegetarians it would say on the label, if it doesn't say so, then read the ingredients if it doesn't contain rennet, gelatin or glycerin then sure go ahead eat it, its animal free and I bet its real tasty.

fondant drys very quickly, depending on how thinly you've rolled it out. usually you need to work fast to avoid it drying too fast. Traditionally, wedding cakes are made with buttercream, and fondant used over it....so its perfectly normal to use fondant on buttercream cake.

2 cups milk 1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar 1 1/4 cups shredded coconut

4 TBS cornstarch 1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs, separated Pastry for one 9 inch crust

    1 TBS butter

Scald 1 1/2 cups milk in top of double boiler. ( I just use a saucepan.)

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in a bowl.

    Add remaining milk.

Pour paste into hot milk and cook until thickened. (It should resemble warm pudding)

    Beat egg YOLKS.

Pour small amount of hot mixture over yolks before adding them to milk.

    Cook 2 minutes longer.

Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla and 3/4 cup shredded coconut.

Cool and pour into baked shell.

Cover with meringue made by adding 4 TBS sugar to beaten egg white.

Sprinkle remaining coconut over top and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

(If you have never made meringue, you may be surprised how much mixing it takes for your egg whites to thicken up. The test is to dip a knife into the whites and if it makes little peaks then it is ready.)

If you need a pie crust recipe, I have an easy one. Another thing... separate the eggs by cracking the egg and letting the whites slip through your fingers as you hold the yolk.
Look on the package of Flaked Coconut, it's on almost every package and it's good.

Several years ago I made a ambrosia salad with whipping cream. I can't find that recipe now.?

I've seen many receipes with cool whip but that's not the kind I'm looking for. Basically I need to know how much whipping cream to use with a large can of fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, cherries, grapes, chuck pineapples. Then the whipping cream just gets firm with a hand mixer, right? Thanks for your help.Several years ago I made a ambrosia salad with whipping cream. I can't find that recipe now.?
use dream whip and I would just keep adding and mixing until it is the way you like it I am not sure about exact amounts but that is what I doSeveral years ago I made a ambrosia salad with whipping cream. I can't find that recipe now.?
For that amount of fruit, you should 1/2 cup of whipping cream, whipped. The cream will get firm when whipped - but be sure the bowl and mixer beaters are chilled for best results.
    mandarin oranges

    pineapples

    marhmellow

    bananas

    sour cream

mix well, then regridgerate for 4-5 hours
I make sure all my fruits are well drained. I use 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream. It well make about 3 cups when whipped. Fold the fruit into the whipped cream.
    Ambrosia Salad

    Makes 6 servings

    3/4 cup orange diced

    2 bananas ripe, sliced

    1/2 cup green seedless grape

1/4 cup dates cut-up pitted (optional)

    3 tablespoons lemon juice

    1/4 cup coconut flaked

    1 cup mayonnaise

    1/2 cup whipped cream

Combine the orange, bananas, grapes and dates, sprinkle with lemon juice and chill. Fold mayonnaise in whipped cream. Serve on lettuce and sprinkle with the flaked coconut.

    * Cool Whip may be used instead of whipped cream.

What Are The Advantages & Dis-advantages Of Using Hair Removal Cream On Your Upper Lip At 13?

I want ot get rid of my upper lip hair, but im only 13. What are the good %26amp; bad points of using 'hair removal cream'?What Are The Advantages %26amp; Dis-advantages Of Using Hair Removal Cream On Your Upper Lip At 13?
    good things-

    -hairs gone

    bad things-

-you have to keep doing it once you start, you cant just stop one day

-you could break out from it on your skin if you react bad to it

-it may only take some hair off

    -it could burn really bad

way more bad things than good..What Are The Advantages %26amp; Dis-advantages Of Using Hair Removal Cream On Your Upper Lip At 13?
I hae tried hair removal cream and it didn't work for me. I shave my upper lip and don't have any side effects - stiff hair, cut lip etc. It's easy, you can do it when you shave your legs. What difference does it make if you have to repeat it? Women shave other parts of their bodies. Of course, you can have it waxed if you have the money. Just be careful but you will get the hang of it.
waxing is so much easier and it works better.hair removal cream makes the hair grow back black and it comes back after like a week. waxing eventually thins it out.
just get it waxed. that's what i did ! (:

After making ice cream, can I throw the water with rock salt down the drain?

i assume you can yes.. or throw it down the toilet. rock salt will disolve .... at least your not pouring paint thinner down your drain.. i wouldnt worry too much about it .After making ice cream, can I throw the water with rock salt down the drain?
    Why not?

You could throw it on your lawn. After making ice cream, can I throw the water with rock salt down the drain?
it wouldn't be the smartest thing because it could build up like limescale but you can
dunno. we've always just thrown it outside (on rocks).
Here is my policy. Anything that fits down that hole in the sink is some other persons problem. Sometimes I have to use great force to fit large items into the disposal but I have never had a problem.
A plumber told me that flushing rock salt down the toilet was good. Helped keep the pipes clean.
No problem, it's only salt water.
Depends on if you have a septic tank or not, if you do it is not a good idea, if you are on a public sewer system then it's ok.
Flush it, it will dissolve sooner or later any way..thanks for 2.
    yes
we did that in club XD

    umm...

i think we drained the water and threw the salt
Yes, you might have to run a lot of water on it to get it to go down. Take it out to the street and lay it over a stormwater drain or throw it in your backyard if you don't want to waste water.
It is better to throw it down the sink than outside in the yard. Living in a hurricane zone, we know that salt will kill grass and plants.
Yes you should have any problem with it
Looking at some of these answers scares me, no do not throw it in the drain, put the salt in your trash and pour the water out but dilute it, The salt will resolidify and clog your drain, if you pour it on your lawn it will kill it, if you put it on concrete it will eat a hole in it, or cause spalling. Good luck

  • Does Italian ice cream contain eggs?

We are going on holiday to Italy and my daughter has an egg allergy. Some ice creams here (tend to be the luxury ones) contain egg.Does Italian ice cream contain eggs?
    Some do and some don't.

    read carefully!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelato

( Gelato is Italian ice cream)

When your there, just ask the vendor if it contains eggs.

Most don't, but dont chance it.

Sorbets are safe as safe can be.Does Italian ice cream contain eggs?
Italian ice - no dairy, no egg. Like sorbet. (They call sorbet ';Sorbetto';, BTW - Italian Ice may be an American invention.)

Gelato - made from milk, more dense than most ice cream, as it has less air.

    Like ice cream . . . Wiki says ';Some gelato recipes call for eggs, although with the homogenization of the Italian gelato culture and mixes and stabilisers readily available and in use, eggs are being phased out as emulsifiers.';

So you're going to have to do the same thing you'd do here. Ask.

Enjoy your trip - learn to say ';please, thank you, bathroom'; and in your case ';Does this have eggs in it?'; in Italian.
Some do especially ';zabaione'; type is loaded with eggs.
As for the sorbet thing - ones I have made had egg white in them.

Just because it is not creamy and milky doesn't mean it doesn't have the white in it.

    Ask if you can.

A granite which is just frozen slushy juice might be ok.
Umm, the ones I have usually do. It depends on the ice-cream. When you're in Italy, just ask the restaurant or wherether you're buying the ice-cream from, if the ice-cream contains egg.

    Hope I helped :)
Fruity icecream don't usually contain eggs and sorbets don't contain milk or eggs but all other flavours will contain eggs

Is a night cream ok to use in the daytime? Will it harm my face?

If the night cream isn't SPF then you will feel the effects of the sun, easy way to counteract that is put the night cream on first then put some suncream on.

Night cream is a lot heavier then day cream but as long as it doesn't clog your pores and mess with your makeup its fineIs a night cream ok to use in the daytime? Will it harm my face?
use your day cream for the day, and your night cream at night.

the reason behind is that night creams are richer and contain more nutritives - the skin needs those ingredients to repair itself at night.

using a night cream at day, it's a waste of money

  • Crockpot chicken with cream of mushroom soup?

i only have one can of soup %26amp; i added milk %26amp; water but it doesn't look like that much liquid i'm just afraid that if i add too much milk or water it will loose the flavour i am putting some potatos in it too... is there anything i can add to it to make it taste better .. we are in need of going grocery shopping %26amp; i only have the basics

    any ideas..

oh i do have cheese but will that taste okay?Crockpot chicken with cream of mushroom soup?
That should be enough liquid, 1 can of soup and 1 can milk.

You could add some diced onions, or when you go shopping buy some fresh or canned mushrooms to add to the chickenCrockpot chicken with cream of mushroom soup?
a little chicken boullion or broth will help keep the flavor up, or add another can of soup - cream of chicken maybe, if you're out of mushroom. you can also add some herbs to help with flavor, like some dill weed or thyme. a bit of sour cream (or plain yogurt) would make it nice and rich. or you could add an envelope of lipton onion soup maybe, to be able to add a little more liquid without making it bland.

i think i'd go with sour cream, if possible.

i would not go with cheese, as it wouldn't melt right and mix well.
Going to guess you have started this recipe in the dlow cooker already. So when you go to the store, get another can of soup, how about cream of chicken. That would add a nice flavor. Add the cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking to melt the cheese, I think it would taste great with cheese.

If you have already started the dish, when you get back from the store, heat the other can of soup. you might need two, but add only enough liquid to the soup to get the consistency you want. Creamier, less liquid.
It should be fine. As it cooks, juices will cook out of the chicken %26amp; water will cook out of the potatoes to combine with the soup/milk/water. If you have a packet of dry onion soup mix or even a packet of brown or mushroom gravy mix throw it in, too.

If you go with the cheese, just sprinkle it on top a few minutes before you are ready to serve.
The liquids will build up as the chicken cooks. Try adding some chicken broth or bullion if you're really worried about the ammount of liquid.. Garlic, onions, paprika, salt and pepper all things you could add. Be weary of adding too much stuff to it though.

I wouldn't add the cheese. That sounds gross...
    * It won't look like much liquid, the chicken will produce it

    * I would partially cook the potatoes then add them. If not then add a little more water/milk.

    * All ya need is a little salt, pepper and maybe some garlic.

*ALSO, I like the cheese idea. Sound great to me, I'm a cheese lover though!!!

How much shaving cream should I use for my legs?

I'm 18 and I've never shaved them before and they're really hairy. How much shaving cream should I use for my legs?
just as much as u think u need..u will get to knwo by practiceHow much shaving cream should I use for my legs?
Shaving cream goes a long way, so just enough to fill your palm, worked for me, and I have long legs.
oh, yeah, you should start. you just rub it in all over your legs. tyr a little at first and if that isn't enough use more until it is enough. :) hope i helped!
Just enough to cover all the hair .But shaving will make the hair grow back soon. Why not try waxing or use an epilator .I use an epilator.
Put on as thick a coat of shaving cream as you think you need to make it comfortable. The idea of shaving cream is it provides lubrication for the razor as it moves across your skin. You won't need an 8 inch thick icing on your legs though, just enough to cover it. You'll have to experiment a bit to find what works best for you.
    NONE!

you dont' need to shave, there is no health benefit.

Why should women be pressured to shave but not men?

    It's not equal.
umm... it doesn't really matter. It varies depending on your leg size, but I'd guess about a quarter sized to half dollar sized amount per leg; maybe more.

Will freezing adversely affect leftovers of brown rice prepared with cream of chicken soup and milk?

There's also chicken breast and some butter in it.

I think I've heard that freezing things that contain milk is not recommended... is this true? Since I used milk and cream of chicken soup to make the rice (instead of water), should I avoid freezing?

Thanks. Will freezing adversely affect leftovers of brown rice prepared with cream of chicken soup and milk?
No, that'll be okay. The rice will probably absorb more of the soup by the time you reheat it. You shouldn't freeze milk by itself because the water and fat components separate when thawed, but as an ingredient, it's fine. Will freezing adversely affect leftovers of brown rice prepared with cream of chicken soup and milk?
No it shouldn't affect it, just make sure whatever you put it in has all the air pushed out. For Instance, if you are using a zip- lock bag, push all the air out before you zip it. This avoids freezer burnings, or having your food tasting stale.
Hi: I wouldn't freeze it, not only would the dairy in it probably separate, but I think the texture of the rice would be altered (and not in a good way!)
I don't see the problem. Ice cream has milk in it. I freeze all sorts of leftovers. The two things I wouldn't freeze are sour cream and cheese, it changes the texture.

    Tea stain on cream carpet?

i wouldn't go so far as to say put the dog down...go to a pet store and get something called Nature's Miracle, its an enzyme cleaner. (they also sell it called mother's miracle for children's messes) This cleaner will make your stain disappear I cant recommend it enough.
    OH MY GOD

Step 1: Blot up as much of the tea stain as possible by using a clean white cloth

Step 2: Pour cold water onto the tea stain and blot up the stained area again.

Step 3: Use a carpet stain remover according to the directions.

Step 4: If traces of the tea stain remain, sponge a mild bleach like vinegar onto the stained area and allow it to sit for 7-10 minutes.

Step 5: Sponge the area thoroughly with water and blot to remove any traces of the vinegar.

Important: always check in inconspicuous place stain remover and vinegar.
Try it on a hidden bit first...........

a teaspoon full of bleach in a cup of warm water and using a dishcloth fairly wet with the solution, dab it till it has gone. Then rinse well. Be carefull.
Go to the grocery store and buy some Spot Shot. It takes out stubborn stains, even pet odors if the dog happens to have another accident. It has a really clean fresh smell too.

  • I want to put a chocolate bar, milk and ice cream into a blender to make a milkshake.?

How much milk and ice cream do I need to put in?I want to put a chocolate bar, milk and ice cream into a blender to make a milkshake.?
A good milkshake has a huge amount of ice cream and only a little milk. You should start with about 1 1/2 cups of ice cream and only add enough milk to make it blend in your blender - maybe 1/4 cup. You'll probably have to stop the blender and scrape the sides some.

The chocolate bar will turn to chunks at best in the blender, a gritty powder at worst. Better to break it up first and then stir it in after you're done blending.I want to put a chocolate bar, milk and ice cream into a blender to make a milkshake.?
this is what i would do. in the microwave i would melt the chocolate bar with a splash of the milk. do it at like 15 second intervals, stirring everytime so the chocolate does not burn. then depending on how big of a milkshake you want i would put in a couple of scoops of ice cream then start with a little milk and the chocolate, and blend, add milk a little at a time until you get the consistency that you want.
put a few scoops of ice cream in and the chocolate bar, melted a little in the microwave, blend. let it blend of a while and stop it every one in a while and squish the ice cream down with a spoon to help break it down a little. then when it gets blended and its too thick add a little milk and blend again then just keep doing that till you get the consistency you want
If you are wanting bits of chocolate chips in it... crunch the bar up and beat it in a bag first... then make your milkshake.. then in the end put the choc. pieces in the shake.. or else the blender will not mix it right.. unless you have one of those new high tech $300 blenders... As for ice cream and milk.. add a little of each.. and then test the consistancy.. keeping adding more ice cream or milk depending on the consistancy you like it at. For thicker.. put very little milk.. for thinner.. put more milk. Freeze the blender glass for awhile or else it will just melt all your icecream.
Use a few scoops of ice cream and enough milk to cover the ice cream. If it seems too thick, you can always add more milk. On the other hand, if it seems too thin, you can always add more ice cream.
I would grate the chocolate bar, if you melt it %26amp; put it into the cold ice cream, you will have a huge glob of chocolate in your shake.
I would maybe melt the chocolate bar a little bit so its not too hard...squeeze it in your hands! Maybe a glass of milk and two scoops of ice cream!? Enjoy x.x.x
try really cold yoghurt instead of milk.
hey put how much you want. i do that **** too. i like to exprement on food.

Don't expect to have a fluffy chocolate icing without following the precise instructions step by step and/or without having the complete ingredients.

Heavy cream and sour cream is the same?

Hi, I麓m from Brazil. I was reading a receipt that use heavy cream, but I don麓t if it is the same as sour cream but whipped?

Here in Brazil we have three kind of sour cream, but they have the same flavor, just the fresh sour cream we can use to do ';chantilly'; (i think in English is Whipping cream)

please someone help me!!Heavy cream and sour cream is the same?
In america they are different. Heavy cream is more like milk...it's thicker but it can still be poured. Sour cream is very thick and needs to be spooned onto something. They also have different tastes. Heavy cream is kind of sweet while sour cream isn't really sour but has a distinctive taste.

Heavy cream can be beaten to make whipped cream...so if one of the kinds of sour cream you have is used to make whipped cream I'd use that one.Heavy cream and sour cream is the same?
Since when does being Brazilian justify ignorance??
Heavy cream is whipping cream, which is sweet. Sour cream is entirely different.
Heavy cream is ';whipping cream';, which is not the same as sour cream in America. Sour cream is more solid. Heavy cream is thick, but liquid, and not sour-tasting.
heavy cream just denotes a high fat content - same as double cream in the UK

Sour cream is different, becuase it has an acidic agent (usually lemon juice) in it, which also sets it slightly.

Chantilly cream (the term Chantilly is french) technically is whipped cream with the addition of sugar and vanilla. best cream to use for chantilly is heavy, or double. Whipping cream has a slightly lower fat content. The fat content in cream helps you whip it - which is why you will never get single cream to whip into peaks. The highest fat content is at the top of the list, and the next highest is listed below.

    Heavy or Double Cream

    Whipping Cream

    Single cream.

Sour cream would be somewhere around heavy or whipping in terms of fat content.

P.S - final note - when adding sugar (caster, not granulated as granulated is too big and would be crunchy) it helps you whip the cream into peaks quicker.
It depends on what you are making. If you are making a soup or cream suace I personally do it all the time. I think it just depends on what you are making.
    No, not the same.
I am thinking they are different. Most stores have light cream, heavy cream, whipping cream and sour cream. If there are two that are almost the same I think it is heavy cream and whipping cream. I use either of those for making alfredo sauce and it seems the same each time.
In england heavy cream is 'double'cream...and light cream is 'single'cream?...soured cream is 'krem fresh' I think its tangy with a yoghurt type active ingredient?... whatever!...

If I'm standing in my home in front of my window naked, eating a gallon of ice cream can I be arrested?

I'm 6'5 and 368lbs, my neighbors are complaining about it but they will not say it in my face.If I'm standing in my home in front of my window naked, eating a gallon of ice cream can I be arrested?
Jack, Jack, Jack.... that's not Ice Cream.

    It's Crisco............

Tell Pauly hello next time you visit him at the AIDS Clinic. If I'm standing in my home in front of my window naked, eating a gallon of ice cream can I be arrested?
Yes, you could be arrested. Even though your inside your home, the US Supreme Court has ruled that an expectation of privacy does not apply in situations where you are likely to be seen by someone else.

So, walking around naked inside your home, with the blinds closed, and someone has to go way out of their way to see you, such as peer through the cracks in the blinds, then you would be protected. But, standing in front of an open window with your little wing dang doodle swinging in the breeze would not be protected, as there is no expectation of privacy in such situation. Someone walking by could easily see you.
Naked in front of the window at 6'5';, and 368 pounds? WOW. Talk about 'indecent' exposure!!! Do you really NEED to be eating ice cream naked, in front of the window? You don't need ice cream. And you shouldn't be exposing yourself. What a sight you must be.
why would you want to do that ? I don't really think they can do more then give you a warning but anything that disrespects peoples privacy can be treated legally like throwing huge parties and putting music till 3 Am when neighbors are trying to sleep.
    Yes,i hope so,

that is indecent exposure, even if it's in your own home.

You may like to look at yourself naked, but who says your neighbors want to see that.
That big ole' fat belly is hanging down covering whatever might otherwise be indecent about you. You're not exposed at all!

And mantits aren't considered indecent exposure. Just watch any show of The Biggest Loser. Talk about gross.
Hello, Probally wont get arrested at first..but you will be told to close your drapes..if you continue to do so...then you will be arrested on public decency charges..and why would you put yourself through the headache?
They would complain to your face, but they probably cant see your face due to the glare of the sun reflecting off such a large mass
Yes. You would be charged with causing a public eye sore.
Gluttony is a sin, but it is not illegal.
Obama would be proud of his star constituent...fat boy!
