Ultimate M%26amp;M Cookies
1 cup (2 sticks or 240mL) butter or margarine softened
1/2 cup (120mL) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (120mL) firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups (480mL) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 12-ounce package (340g) M%26amp;M'S庐 Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
3/4 cup (180mL) chopped nuts (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350掳F (180掳C).
2. In large bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla.
3. In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
4. Stir in M%26amp;M'S庐 %26amp; Chocolate Mini Baking Bits and nuts. 5. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches (50mm) apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and centers are still soft. Do not overbake.
6. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks. Store in tightly covered container.
MAKES ABOUT 3 DOZEN COOKIES.
Best Ever Chewy Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons corn syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (11.5 ounce) package semi-
sweet chocolate chunks
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, chocolate syrup, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the corn syrup and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the chocolate chunks by hand. Drop cookies by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Yields 24 cookies
Cream Filling
1/3 cup plain flour, sifted
1 cup milk
Dash salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a heavy saucepan, combine flour and small portion of the milk to form a paste while warming to medium heat. Stir in remaining milk and continue stirring until thick and smooth. Cool completely. (This can be done ahead. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before proceeding with next step.)
2. In a mixing bowl, cream salt, butter, sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Add the milk mixture, one tablespoon at a time, to the creamed mixture and beat until smooth. 1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. plain M%26amp;M'S庐
1/4 c. chocolate chips
Combine shortening, sugars and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in M%26amp;M'S庐 and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Use silver cookie pan.

CREAMED FILLED CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Make paste of 5 teaspoons flour and 1 cup milk. Cook until thick. Let cool while you mix and bake cookies.
1/2 cup butter - softened
2 cup sugar
4 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
12-16 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, chocolate chunks or M%26amp;Ms
Make cookie dough then drop on ungreased cookie sheet by rounded teaspoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cream in small bowl:
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Add to cooled paste
Use lots in filling cookies.
CHOCOLATE CHIP/CHUNK COOKIES
1 cup butter - softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs - let sit at room temp. for 30 minutes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, chocolate chunks or M%26amp;Ms
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans - OPTIONAL
Butter cream filling or ice cream or Cool Whip
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium or high for 30 seconds. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda and salt beating until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with mixer, stir in any remaining flour. Stir in chocolate and nuts.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes or until edges are light brown. Remove to wire rack to cool. Once cooled, place cookies back to back with filling, ice cream or Cool Whip inbetween.
**NOTE** To get uniform cookies, buy a small ice cream scoop from a kitchen shop and use this to form dough and drop onto cookie sheet.
FILLING
1 stick butter - softened
16 oz powdered sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup milk
Cream together all ingredients except milk until well combined. Add milk by tablespoons full until desired consistency is reached.
my favorite thing to do is take two chocolate chip cookies, but any cookie should work, and put cool whip in the middle, and stick them in the freezer for a couple hours. Home made sandwich cookie ice cream. great stuff. you sub vanilla ice cream for the cool whip.
