Just use your favorite cake recipe and your favorite ice cream.
Bake the cake first, remove it from the pan and let it cool completely.
To shape the ice cream layer, line the pan with wax paper. Make sure you use the same pan you used to bake the cake (clean it first) so that both layers are the same size. Leave enough wax paper up the sides of the pan so that you can pull the ice cream out later. Let the ice cream soften, then smooth it across the bottom of the pan. Put the pan in the freezer until the ice cream is solid again.
Once the ice cream in ready, pull it out of the pan and turn it onto the cake. Remove the wax paper from the top and frost the cake. Make sure you frost it quickly so the ice cream doesn't start to melt. Once frosted, put back in the freezer.
You can also put another layer in between the cake and the ice cream, like crushed cookies or fruit or nuts.Does anybody know know how to make an ice-cream cake?
Use cookies n cream icecream... its got oreos in it.
Dont know how to make it though... I'm guesing you must firmly pack the icecream into a same matching pan as the cake... then bake cake in matching pan, then somehow get them both out, layer them, and put on icing.
